I decided to write this blog almost as soon as Lochy was born - literally within the first couple of minutes. 

I've always wanted to write, but have struggled to find a subject or 'my voice', and suddenly there it was - I had just been through this completely incredible, life changing experience by carrying and giving birth to a son.

But one thing that became quickly apparent in the aftermath, is that there is so much you don't get told! Particularly about things you and your poor body will experience postpartum ~ so one thing I've really wanted to make sure I do, is to not hold back on the truth! I have no desire to overshare, or shock, but there are things I really wish I'd known before hand, so I atleast had a little heads up! 

So here it is; my account of motherhood from the very beginning, warts and all.
