A good book and a cuppa for mum and baby x

I've been a big fan of The Fletchers for some time (original McFly fan and proud!!) so when I saw that Giovanna Fletcher had written a book about her experience with motherhood, I began to eagerly await its release, which was set for 3 days before my due date. As it happened, I ended up getting stuck into it on the day of its release whilst confined to a hospital bed for 6 days while Lochy gained weight and I was glad to have it there to keep me company.

Reading this book is like chatting to your best friend; its honest, funny, down to earth and moving, as well as being totally relatable.

Mums the world over will love this book - if you're pregnant and don't know what to expect it'll give a welcome heads up of some of the things you might experience, and if you're already a mum at any stage, you'll find yourself internally nodding along in agreement at some of the things Giovanna has experienced so far, both physically and emotionally.

My Verdict: I love this book! There's absolutely no reason not to recommend it - and so I do, wholeheartedly to all the mummy I know!
